Centered Recovery in Roswell offers partial hospitalization care for adults. You attend day sessions, then return home each evening. We provide about 30 hours per week of evidence-based treatment for adults across Metro Atlanta. Treatment includes group therapy, individual therapy, and skill practice. We use a mindfulness-based approach with non 12 step support. Our PHP helps people with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions.
Partial Hospitalization Day Program for Adults in Atlanta
Our Atlanta PHP provides intensive outpatient treatment without overnight stays. You attend treatment 5-6 hours daily, 5-7 days per week. This hospitalization program fits between residential treatment and intensive outpatient program (IOP) levels of care.
We use a mindfulness-based, non-12-step approach. This is different from traditional addiction treatment programs. You learn coping skills in morning sessions and practice them that same afternoon. We call this Real-Time Recovery.
A partial hospitalization program is designed for individuals who need more support than outpatient treatment but do not require 24-hour inpatient care. PHP works for adults who need this higher level of support, while still allowing you to return home each night and be with your loved one.

How We Choose PHP vs IOP During Your Assessment
Your treatment team completes a full assessment before recommending PHP or IOP. We follow Georgia DCH requirements and ASAM criteria to match you with the right level of care.
Clinical needs we evaluate:
- Severity of mental health symptoms (using PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores)
- Substance use patterns and withdrawal risk
- Stability of your home environment
- Work or family obligations
- Previous treatment history
PHP fits adults who need daily monitoring and intensive treatment. IOP works better when you need structured support but can manage 9-15 hours weekly.
We track your progress throughout treatment. When symptoms improve, you step down from PHP to IOP, then to standard outpatient programs.
